We have developed a technology for the recreation of avatars (closed homologous surfaces representing the human body shape equipped with a skeleton) from a set of body measurements.
Our technology uses a model that relates a PCA shape space synthesis to body measurements and then optimises the shape until it reaches the target measurements.
Our solution is based on a homologous model database of over 10.000 individuals and was developed by the IBV team within the EuroFit project. Since it is a fully automated process it can be applied massively to large measurement databases
